Meeting a penfriend is always so rewarding! 2003 was the year when I met more of them and each one left a special memory in me. I can now call them real friends, which is just great.

The Portuguese cutie who visited me in May 2003. She was on her tour through Italy with her boyfriend Antonio and her relatives Marco and Sandra. After spending 1 day with us in Lanciano, we all went to Florence for the weekend. |

Al and I spent a couple of days with sweet Teresa and her family during our American holidays in June 2003. It was an unforgettale experience in hot Virginia, between wine tasting, sightseeing and lots of laughs!

Darren is another lovely souvenir from our American holidays. After meeting him and his nice wife Junko in Las Vegas, we toured the canyons together for 4 days by their car. It was a memorable trip in the trip and Darren is the sweetest of people! |
Olga
This is Olga, my Russian friend who's been living in Athens for 3 years now. I met her during my week trip to Greece (October 2003). We shared some very beautiful scenery and quality time together. Olga is as humurous and interesting as I expected her to be.

In October 2003 Miyuki arrived from Japan and spent 3 days in Lanciano with us. I took her to many pretty places in my area and this photo was taken at a nice beach near my home. Lovely Miyuki, we chatted sooooo much! |
Nicky
Finally my dream came true: I went to England (November 2003) and met my sis Nicky. After all the chats we had on Msn, meeting her was like if I had known her all my life, really! Her family was a joy to be with, made me feel very welcome and special, like at home.

During the same trip in England I also had the chance to meet Kristin, who was there on a business trip from Norway at the same time. What a coincidence, huh? We only met for a couple of hours, just the time for a chat in front of a hot drink in a Starbuck, but I hope we can meet again sometime in the future! |
