Lanciano is a cute city of about 40.000 inhabitants and it has Roman origins. There's a very well preserved roman bridge that dates back to the III c. B.D. at the time of the emperor Diocleziano. We also have other interesting monuments, such as a church built on the same bridge I told you above, whose architecture is amazing, a cathedral that is the only model of Romanic style in the whole region, and the little church of St. Legontian, that for over 12 centuries has contained the first Eucharistic Miracle of the Catholic Church.

We've been living here since 2002. Before that, we  spent 1.5 years in Epinal (France), another enchanting city in the Lorraine region. Life there was beautiful and calm but we had to come back because of Al's job. I miss that place but never mind, for I agree with who says that 'home is where there's one to love us'.
